Signature Kettle Crafted in Independence, OH is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Specialist with SQF expertise to uphold product quality and safety. You will develop and update internal policies, analyze quality metrics, audit data and feedback to continually improve SQF programs.

Responsibilities include training plant personnel on SQF topics, ensuring HACCP, GMPs, SOPs and QA programs are followed, and coordinating investigations with corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in microbiology or food science; preferred.
• 3–5 years of QA, production and hands-on lab testing in food industry.
• SQF practitioner, HACCP, PCQI or FSVP certification or ability to certify.
• Detail oriented and proficient with Excel and Word.

Responsabilités

• Create or update internal policies to satisfy SQF requirements.
• Analyze product quality, safety metrics, audit data and feedback to improve SQF programs.
• Assist in training plant personnel on SQF and food safety topics.
• Ensure HACCP, GMPs, SOPs and QA programs are followed.
• Coordinate investigations and corrective actions for regulatory concerns.
• Review QA paperwork for accuracy and verification.
• Modify forms to streamline QA workflow and transparency.
• Communicate quality or record-keeping issues with other departments.
• Stay updated with food safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Assist Project Manager/R&D Director on special projects.
