Job summary

Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking an experienced SQA Testing Manager to lead and mentor the SQA team, drive testing strategies, and ensure quality across software releases.

You will oversee test plans, coordinate across development and operations, and manage multiple projects with a focus on metrics, process improvement, and teammate development, while maintaining security clearance requirements. The role requires five years of SQA testing and 3-5 years of management, a bachelor’s degree,

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of SQA Testing experience.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of Management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Expertise in functional and non-functional testing best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and lead a team.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to obtain NAC-I security clearance for government work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the SQA team, developing testing strategies and best practices.
• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of QA test plans and cases.
• Lead analysis of requirements to create robust test strategies and architectures.
• Ensure SQA testing integrates with the full SDLC.
• Monitor team velocity and adjust workload as needed.
• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities.
• Perform extensive manual testing and automate where appropriate.
• Conduct backend testing using complex SQL queries.
• Track and report defects and testing metrics.
• Collaborate with Developers, Automation, Operations, and Account Managers.
• Investigate causes of non-conforming software and implement fixes.
