Job summary

Softsquare is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester in Aurora, Illinois. The candidate will conduct performance testing using JMeter and cover all phases of QA testing including functional and non-functional testing. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required along with 1-2 years of QA experience. Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of Agile methodologies are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SCRUM, and Agile Testing Life Cycles.

Responsibilities

• Performance testing experience in JMeter including API testing.
• Cover all the phases of QA testing: System, Integration, Regression, Smoke, Exploratory, Performance, Data verification and Acceptance testing.
• Work and coordinate with team lead, project manager, and business analyst.

• Performance testing experience in JMeter including API testing;
• Use one or more Testing Automation Frameworks: Detox, Cypress, Appium, Robotium, Selenium, Cucumber;
• Cover all the phases of QA testing: System (functional and non-functional), Integration, Regression, Smoke, Exploratory, Performance, Data verification and Acceptance testing;
• Work and Coordinate with Team lead, Project manager, and Business analyst.
