Job summary

InterSources Inc is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional for a fully onsite 12-month engagement in Columbia, SC. You will translate business requirements into test cases and scenarios, design test plans, and support regression and UAT testing to ensure reliability.

The role requires hands-on automation with Sahi Pro or Selenium, development of automated scripts, and collaboration with product teams to enforce QA governance and best practices in a healthcare context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• 5+ years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios.
• 3+ years with Sahi Pro and/or Selenium Automation Framework.
• Experience designing and developing Test Automation Scripts.
• Experience with SDLC/Waterfall and Agile environments.
• Experience with test-design techniques: Equivalence Class Partitioning and Pairwise Analysis.
• Experience with PICT or orthogonal-based test-design tools.
• 5+ years in large enterprise or e-business systems.
• 3+ years Medicaid or healthcare experience.
• Strong healthcare/Medicaid operations knowledge.
• Experience with X.12 Standards and HIPAA EDI Transactions.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with vendor Unit Testing and System Integration Testing plans/results.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, QA processes, UAT processes, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Design and support user-interface and regression testing.
• Test software applications for reliability and stability.
• Perform System Integration Testing and End-to-End Testing.
• Perform Regression Testing and Negative Testing.
• Design and develop automated test scripts.
• Identify defects, testing gaps, risks, and optimization areas.
• Maintain and track defects and improvements.
• Collaborate with product teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure adherence to software-testing governance policies and best practices.
• Perform reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections.
• Review vendor testing plans and results.
• Prepare Test Plans, Test Scripts, and Test Reports.
• Track progress against targets and report issues.

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of at least ONE of the following:

• TMMI
• CMMI OPF

• Experience with PICT or equivalent orthogonal-based test-design tools.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in a Technical, Business, or Healthcare field

• Track testing progress against established targets and report exceptions or impediments.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, technicians, business stakeholders, and management throughout testing activities.
