Job summary

V2X is seeking a Senior SPY-6 Engineer/Scientist to support a U.S. government customer in Dahlgren, VA. The role requires an active Secret clearance and is onsite at a government facility.

Responsibilities include advancing systems engineering plans, requirements baselining, modeling and simulation, and participating in system integration events with the combat system and platform. Core hours apply, with opportunities to contribute to radar concept feasibility and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 6+ years of engineering experience.
• Navy SPY-6 radar background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Systems Engineering Plans.
• Review requirements from identification through design verification to ensure user needs are met.
• Plan and execute engineering strategies per approved project acquisition plans.
• Report contract execution status and support program reviews.
• Establish and maintain requirements specifications, capabilities documents, and baselines; interface control documents for development and verification.
• Research and develop System/Subsystem specification documents and assess compatibility with system requirements.
• Assess allocation of functions to HW/SW, and conduct modeling and simulation for training and performance.
• Support government managers with requirements analysis and solution development.
• Baseline, revise, and maintain requirements documents; support accreditation and tool analyses.
• Perform technical analysis to support architecture design, interoperability, and system sustainment.
