Job summary

TempServ Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Sputter Process Engineer to develop multilayer thin-film structures for advanced hard disk media programs and to optimize sputtering processes for improved stability and performance.

You will lead a team of sputter EAs, develop new multilayer structures, and monitor process stability while ensuring ISO quality and safety standards. A background in materials science and PVD/CVD is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Materials Science Engineering (entry-level welcome).
• Experience in semiconductor or hard disk industry (2+ years).
• Understanding of magnetic multi-layers design.
• Sputtering equipment hardware modification and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of sputter EAs to conduct daily sputtering work.
• Develop new multilayer thin film structures for hard disk media programs.
• Duplicate hard disk media structures based on design transfer.
• Monitor sputter process and machine stability.
• Ensure compliance with ISO quality and safety standards.

We are seeking a skilled Sputter Process Engineer to join a leading MNC in the chemical hard disk manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing advanced multilayer thin-film structures for new hard disk media programmes, optimizing existing storage technologies, and enhancing sputtering machine stability, process reliability, and performance.

Optimizing hard disk storage: Implement strategies to maximize existing storage capacity and explore potential upgrades for significant storage expansion.

Improving sputter machine stability: Focus on enhancing the reliability and performance of the sputter machine and its processes.

• To lead a group of sputter EAs to conduct daily sputtering work
• To develop new multilayers thin film structure for new hard disk media programs
• To duplicate hard disk media structure based on design transferred
• To monitor sputter process & machine stability
• Ensure compliance to ISO quality and Safety standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Materials Science Engineering (Entry-level with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply).
• Post-graduate research fellow in A-star research institute (Advantage)
• Working experience more than 2 years in semiconductor field or hard disk industry
• Understanding of Magnetic material multi-layers design
• Sputtering machine hardware modification & improvement
