Job summary

AutoNation's Mercedes-Benz of Reno, NV is seeking an experienced Auto Technician to perform vehicle repairs and maintenance to dealer and factory standards. You will work with a team of skilled technicians in a busy, climate-controlled shop and interact daily with customers and service staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 2+ years automotive technician experience preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs.
• Customer service orientation and strong communication with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as outlined on the repair order per dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate regularly with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs with customer authorization.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend safety and reliability improvements.
• Document work performed on each vehicle and maintain tool inventory relevant to the service department.
