Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of McKinney, a Sonic Automotive Dealership, is seeking an experienced commercial or Sprinter Technician to join our Fixed Operations team. The Service Technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards, mentoring any apprentice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Luxury vehicle technician.
• ASE or factory/manufacturing training completed.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA; pass pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with accuracy.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repair.
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is needed.
• Document work performed.
• Road-test vehicles when required.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
