Job summary

A leading fire protection provider in Virginia seeks a Designer to develop automatic sprinkler systems and perform hydraulic calculations. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and NICET certification, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience as a sprinkler designer is required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record is required.
• Must comply with Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design automatic sprinkler systems using knowledge of fire sprinkler codes.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for each design.
• Prepare submittal packages to obtain design approval from AHJ.
