Johnson Controls invites experienced fire sprinkler service technicians to join our field team in Lexington. You will receive service calls, assess equipment problems, and perform repairs on commercial, industrial, and residential sprinkler systems.
You will follow troubleshooting procedures, read blueprints and manuals, and demonstrate strong customer service. The role requires flexibility, weekend work, and possible overnight travel, with safety and inventory responsibilities.
Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions. Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial and residential applications. These include but are not limited to wet (steel, copper and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge and fire pumps.
Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. in order to diagnose and repair equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals. Demonstrate a high level of customer service, with strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. Must have the ability to work alone.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $25.67-$38.55 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
