Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician in Tampa to handle service calls and repair sprinkler systems across commercial, industrial and residential settings. You will diagnose issues, read technical diagrams, and perform repairs to wet/dry/pre-action/deluge systems and fire pumps.
Applicants should have 3–5 years of sprinkler experience, a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and the flexibility to travel or work weekends as required.

Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions. Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial and residential applications. These include but are not limited to wet (steel, copper and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge and fire pumps.
Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. in order to diagnose and repair equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals. Demonstrate a high level of customer service, with strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. Must have the ability to work alone.
Hirings Hourly Range: $25-$34 Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
