What You Will Do

• Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions.
• Contact customer representatives to ascertain equipment/system problems.
• Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial applications, including wet (steel, copper, CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.

How You Will Do It

• Follow troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, bulletins, and modification notices to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and manuals.
• Demonstrate high customer service skills, strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work independently.

Minimum Requirements

• 4+ years of documented experience in the fire sprinkler industry performing service and repair of sprinkler and suppression systems.
• Possession of necessary licenses according to national, state, and local codes.
• Maintain truck inventory for prompt customer response.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Valid driver’s license with a suitable driving record.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Physical ability to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Willingness to work in challenging positions, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, working at heights up to 60 feet, and in confined spaces.
• Ability to understand all safety requirements of the company and customer.

Preferred Qualifications

• NICET Level II certification is a plus.
