Sprinkler Service Technician

MD/DC/VA Area

Are you a motivated, experienced Sprinkler Technician or Sprinkler Fitter seeking an opportunity to use your technical expertise and passion for customer service? Do you want to work with a company that values your hard work and prioritizes its employees?

If so, consider joining Fireline Corporation—we are looking for highly skilled, positive, and reliable Sprinkler Service Technicians to join our team!

As a Technician, your responsibilities will include testing, inspecting, repairing, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems. You will also ensure quality work and deliver excellent customer service while helping foster a friendly, productive, and teamwork-oriented culture.

What we’re looking for…

Industry Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in inspections, repairs, or maintenance of sprinkler systems or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards for inspection, testing, and installation of sprinkler systems, or familiarity with building codes.
  • NICET Certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be 18 or older.
  • Employees aged 21+ must be permitted to drive company vehicles per Fireline’s insurance policy.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required to meet insurance criteria.
  • Fireline is a drug-free workplace. Employees will be required to pass drug tests at hire and periodically thereafter, including tests for opiates, amphetamines, and methamphetamines, in accordance with DOT regulations (49 CFR Part).
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Comfortable working in diverse environments, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Ability to read, speak, sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb ladders, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of measuring, cutting, and installing materials for repairs.
  • Committed to delivering quality work and ensuring safety.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to meet team goals.
