Cen Cal Fire Systems, a division of Sciens Building Solutions, is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to provide installation services for all forms of fire sprinkler systems and components. This role supports our growing team and requires meticulous attention to NFPA-based standards and effective communication with Designers, Project Managers, and General Contractors.

• Four years of field installation experience with fire sprinkler systems.
• CalFire Fire Sprinkler Fitter Certification required.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13.
• NFPA 20 and 24 are a plus but not required.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret blueprints and install prefabricated fire sprinkler piping.
• Installation on new, retrofit, and tenant improvement projects.
• Cut, thread, and groove pipe to trade specifications.
• Provide support and guidance to other field installers and helpers.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL

Cen Cal Fire Systems, a division of SciensBuilding Solutionsis seeking anexperiencedFire SprinklerFitterto provideinstallationservicesofall forms of fire sprinkler systems and components.Thisis a key position for our growing teamandrequires attention to detail in all aspectsof NFPA-based fire sprinkler systems.The ability to problem-solveand communicate effectively withtheDesigner, Project Manager,andGeneral Contractoris an integral part of this position.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (and doing well!)

• Read and interpret blueprints and be able toinstall prefabricated fire sprinkler piping.




• Ability to work under tight deadlines.




• Installation of new, retrofits, and tenant improvement type projects.




• Cut, thread, and groove pipe to trade specifications.




• Provide support, guidance, and expertise to theother field installers and helpers.




• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU!

• Four years of experience in field installation of fire sprinkler systems.




• CalFire Fire Sprinkler Fitter Certification card is required.




• Knowledge of NFPA 13.




• Knowledge of NFPA 20 AND 24 are a plus but not required.




• Provide quality craftmanship.




• Ability to read fire system design drawings.




• Ability to use trade appropriate tools to perform daily pipe fitting duties efficiently and safely.
