Job summary

Cen Cal Fire Systems, a division of Sciens Building Solutions, is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to install and retrofit NFPA-based sprinkler systems across commercial sites in Texas. You will read blueprints, cut and assemble piping, and work on tight deadlines while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Four years of field installation experience required.
• CalFire Fire Sprinkler Fitter Certification required.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13; NFPA 20/24 a plus.
• Ability to read fire system design drawings.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and install piping per specs.
• Install new, retrofit, and tenant improvement projects.
• Cut, thread, groove pipe to specifications.
• Mentor field installers and helpers.
• Collaborate with Designer, Project Manager, and General Contractor.

THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELLCen Cal Fire Systems, a division of Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to provide installation services of all forms of fire sprinkler systems and components. This is a key position for our growing team and requires attention to detail in all aspects of NFPA-based fire sprinkler systems.
