Job summary

Superhero Fire Protection is hiring a Fire Protection Designer (Sprinkler) to design code-compliant fire protection systems for commercial, residential, or industrial buildings. You will prepare layouts, calculations, and submittals using CAD, Revit, or similar design software.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration while staying current with NFPA and AHJ requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in fire protection design.
• Working knowledge of fire protection codes and standards.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SprinkCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design code-compliant fire alarm or sprinkler systems for various buildings.
• Prepare layouts, calculations, and submittal drawings using CAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers for system integration.
• Stay updated on NFPA and AHJ requirements and industry standards.
• Review project specs and assist with estimating and material selection.
• Collaborate on life-saving solutions with the team.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in fire protection design (alarm, sprinkler, or both)
• Working knowledge of fire protection codes and standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SprinkCAD, HydraCAD, Revit, or similar
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• NICET certification (a big plus, but not required — we’ll help you get there)
