Job summary

Superhero Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Protection Designer (Sprinkler) in Raleigh, NC. You will design code-compliant sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, or industrial projects and prepare layouts using CAD, Revit, or similar tools.

Collaborate with architects and project managers, stay updated on NFPA standards, assist with estimating, and help select materials. We value mission-driven professionals who put safety first and support ongoing career growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in fire protection design.
• Working knowledge of fire protection codes and standards.
• NICET certification is a plus but not required; we support you to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Design code-compliant fire alarm or sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, or industrial buildings.
• Prepare layouts, calculations, and submittal drawings using CAD, Revit, or similar design software.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Stay on top of industry codes and standards (NFPA, AHJ requirements, etc.).
• Review project specs and assist with estimating and material selection.
• Collaborate on innovative, life-saving solutions with a team that has your back.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in fire protection design (alarm, sprinkler, or both)
• Working knowledge of fire protection codes and standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SprinkCAD, HydraCAD, Revit, or similar
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• NICET certification (a big plus, but not required — we’ll help you get there)
