Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a division of General Dynamics, invites students to join the Spring/Summer 2027 Sustainability Collegiate Intern program in Savannah, GA. You will work on meaningful projects within a world-class team focused on environmental stewardship and value creation in sustainable aviation.

You will be mentored by leaders, gain hands-on experience across engineering and manufacturing focus areas, and contribute from day one in a culture of integrity and excellence.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during Spring/Summer 2027 (Jan–Aug).
• Cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher (as listed on resume).

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Help implement sustainability projects (e.g., recycling programs, energy efficiency initiatives).
• Help organize sustainability awareness campaigns or events.
• Support communication with employees, vendors, and community partners.
• Support day-to-day sustainability team operations.

About the position

Our team is seeking a dynamic individual to support our sustainability organization, which specializes in value creation, environmental stewardship, and leading the sustainable aviation future.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:

  • other related disciplines
• Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Spring and Summer 2027 semester, beginning in January to August 2027.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
