Job summary

Tier1usa in Springfield, MO seeks a Craftsman Welder/Fabricator to build stainless steel tanks and equipment. You will MIG/TIG weld, read blueprints, and deliver cosmetically pleasing welds that pass strength tests.

Must provide own hood and hand tools; shift is M-F 6am-2:30pm. Competitive hourly pay with benefits after 30 days and immediate vacation accrual.

Qualifications

• 2+ years stainless steel welding experience.
• Ability to weld to cosmetically pleasant finish and pass strength tests.
• Must provide own hood and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Construct stainless steel tanks and equipment via MIG/TIG welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints/mechanical drawings.
• Ensure welds meet strength test standards and cosmetic requirements.

Craftsman Welder/Fabricator should be ASMEtest ready. Able to use both MIG and TIG welding processes to build stainless steel tanks and equipment. Able to read and understand Blueprints/Mechanical drawings. Weld should be cosmetically pleasant and able to withstand strength testing. Will need to provide own hood and hand tools.
