Job summary

Arhaus Upholstery is seeking a Spring Up Utility in Conover, NC. This Non-Exempt – Full Time hourly position supports the Spring Up department with a focus on training, repairs, and daily tasks to meet production goals.

Qualifying candidates will have 3+ years upholstery experience, familiarity with furniture manufacturing, and the ability to read ticket orders. Strong teamwork, reliability, and safety awareness are essential for success in this role.

WEEKLY HOURS Monday – Thursday 6a – 3:30p & Friday 6a – 10a. Overtime as needed

REPORTS TO Spring Up Supervisor

POSITION DETAILS JOB PURPOSE

To help provide training and support functions in the spring up department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform any task assigned in the department.
• Train employees.
• Perform repair work.
• Support department supervisor and employees.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Regular and predictable performance of job duties.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plants with concrete floors.

QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

3+ years Outside Upholstery Experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Experience in furniture manufacturing.

• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be able to wear required safety PPE such as safety glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes.
• Must be able to adhere to all safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
