Job summary

The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law in Washington, DC offers a Spring Undergraduate Intern role with both full-time and part-time options. Interns will work on non-legal and legal support projects across departments, gaining professional development and mentorship.

Interns will receive a $450 stipend and may work remotely or in-office. The internship runs January 25, 2027 through April 9, 2027, with 37.5 hours per week for full-time and a reduced schedule for part-time students.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong administrative and project management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on assigned topics or projects.
• Assist in gathering information for reports and presentations.
• Provide general administrative support such as filing, photocopying and organizing documents.
• Scheduling meetings and appointments.
• Assist in the planning and executing of projects.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members on cross-functional initiatives.
