The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law offers a summer legal internship in Washington, DC to support our work for racial justice. Interns contribute to projects that create meaningful change and gain professional and personal development while our full-time staff remains based in Washington, DC.

Internships are full-time (37.5 hours per week) with mentors and opportunities to engage in policy, legal research, and outreach.

Qualifications

• Must be a student currently pursuing a law degree.
• Commitment to civil rights and racial justice.
• Ability to draft memos, briefs and other legal documents.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Conduct policy and legal research for projects.
• Support client outreach and factual investigation.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys.
