Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Spring & Summer 2027 Solution Architect Co-op to support the County of San Diego contract from January 2027 to August 2027. Co-op students will work with senior architects to design cloud and AI solutions for County services, including system diagrams and AWS-based designs under the AI-DLC framework, with hybrid work basd in San Diego, CA.

You will see how enterprise systems are planned before coding and contribute to modernizing County services, including AI-enabled design

Qualifications

• US Citizenship
• HS Diploma and some advanced level training.
• Current undergrad or graduate student pursuing a degree in CS/SE/CE or related field (upper-level undergrad or graduate preferred)
• Understanding of software design and cloud computing fundamentals
• Ability to create technical diagrams and explain design decisions

Responsibilities

• Design cloud and AI solutions for County services.
• Create system diagrams and architecture patterns.
• Develop AWS-based designs under the AI-DLC framework.
• Collaborate with senior architects and plan before coding.
• Support County of San Diego initiatives as a co-op
