Qualifications

• Must hold a PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Structural Biology, Virology, or a closely related field.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship for employment.
• Relocation to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.
• Strong background in viral vector biology, with demonstrated expertise in molecular cloning, mutagenesis, and recombinant protein expression.
• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and transfection methods, plus proficiency in biochemical assay development and optimization.
• Solid knowledge of protein modifications and their functional consequences, with experience in biophysical characterization methods (SPR, AUC & TEM).
