Job summary

Hurley & Associates is seeking a developer intern to join our development team. You will design and develop high-quality internal applications, research UI/UX trends, and update existing apps while collaborating with colleagues to brainstorm new ideas.

The Spring Internship Program lasts 8 weeks. Hurley & Associates is supportive of earning credit hours for the internship, and interns are paid a competitive weekly salary.

Qualifications

• Completed 3 semesters of a Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• Familiar with version control and bug-tracking workflows.
• Knowledge of C#, SQL and cloud technologies is preferred.

Job description

Developer intern will join our development team and will be working with our developers to design and develop high-quality internal applications. The developer's responsibilities include researching UI and UX trends, updating current applications, and working with colleagues to brainstorm innovative ideas for new applications.

The duration of the Spring Internship Program is 8 weeks in length. Hurley & Associates is supportive of receiving credit hours for the internship. Interns are paid a competitive weekly salary.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Familiarity with code versioning tools, like GIT
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio Code / Visual Studio Professional
• Familiarity of Object-Oriented Programming Language C# preferred
• Familiarity of SQL
• Familiarity with Azure or other Cloud technologies
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work on multiple tasks
• Good interpersonal skills

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Completed 3 semesters of a Bachelor’s Degree in related field
