Job summary

Hurley & Associates is seeking a Developer intern to join our development team, designing and developing high-quality internal applications. The role involves researching UI/UX trends, updating current applications, and collaborating with colleagues to brainstorm innovative ideas for new projects.

The Spring Internship Program lasts 8 weeks. Hurley & Associates supports earning credit hours for the internship. Interns are paid a competitive weekly salary.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree; completed at least 3 semesters.
• Familiarity with version control (GIT) and IDEs (VS Code/VS).
• Knowledge of C# and SQL is preferred.
• Exposure to Azure or other cloud technologies is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate well.
• Good interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Implement testing procedures to identify bugs.
• Develop sections of current web applications.
• Engage with users to understand needs and improvements.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Familiarity with code versioning tools, like GIT
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio Code / Visual Studio Professional
• Familiarity of Object-Oriented Programming Language C# preferred
• Familiarity of SQL
• Familiarity with Azure or other Cloud technologies

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Completed 3 semesters of a Bachelor’s Degree in related field
