Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Sophomore or higher-level standing.
• Coursework or experience related to mechanical engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers to design, test, document, and validate new products.
• Build, document, and validate the electro-mechanical performance of motors, drives, and circuitry.
• Alleviate design issues and/or improve designs through the engineering change procedure.
• Execute tests, analyze data, and generate technical reports to inform management.
• Create CAD models, assemblies, and drawings in SolidWorks.
• Learn to run electromagnetic, thermal, and/or stress simulations in ANSYS.
• Design test and assembly fixtures to aid manufacturing of product.
