Job summary

TPG, through its Y Analytics unit, seeks an Impact Research Assistant to support research and analysis of health and social impact from existing and potential investments. The role offers hands-on work with live deals and academic studies.

Open to current graduate students or advanced undergraduates in environmental sciences, sustainability, economics, or related programs, the internship emphasizes econometric interpretation, industry research, and clear communication in English.

Qualifications

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Employment-based immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
Graduate student or advanced undergraduate currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sustainability, Business, Economics, Public Administration, or another relevant program
Experience or demonstrated interest in international development, climate, consulting, impact investing, or a related field
Ability to interpret and synthesize academic research, including interpreting statistical/econometric analyses (e.g., regression tables)
Interest and aptitude in researching industries and technologies
Excellent Excel skills
Excellent PowerPoint skills
Excellent written and spoken communication skills, and fluency in English

Responsibilities

Assist with research and analysis of health and social impact for existing and potential investments.
Contribute to fast-paced teams conducting impact analysis on live deals and reviews of academic research.
Support development and refinement of impact assessment methodologies.
