Job summary

Y Analytics at TPG is seeking a Spring Research Assistant (Internship) to support health and social impact research. The role is remote and open to graduate students or advanced undergraduates with interests in economics, impact investing, and climate change.

The RA will assist with research on live deals and impact methodologies, contributing to fast-paced teams. Duration is January through May 2027, with compensation of $22.5/hour and a 20-hour workweek.

Qualifications

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Employment-based immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
Graduate student or advanced undergraduate currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sustainability, Business, Economics, Public Administration, or another relevant program.
Experience or demonstrated interest in international development, climate, consulting, impact investing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Ability to interpret and synthesize academic research, including interpreting statistical/econometric analyses (e.g., regression tables).
Interest and aptitude in researching industries and technologies.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills, and fluency in English.
