Job summary

TPG's Y Analytics is seeking a Responsible Investing Research Assistant to support academic and industry research on social impact and sustainability across our global investment portfolio. You will contribute to research, deal work, and engagement with portfolio companies on topics like climate, governance, and human capital.

The role is an internship for early June to late August 2027, offering $22.50 per hour and a 40-hour work week, based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Sponsorship not available
• Must be located in one of the listed U.S. states during the internship
• Undergraduate student who has completed at least two years of study, or a graduate student
• Experience or interest in responsible investing, climate/sustainability, or related field
• Ability to conduct and synthesize market research
• Ability to use AI-enabled research and productivity tools
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, and fluency in English
• Experience with SASB/GRI is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support academic and industry research and analysis of social impact from existing and potential investments
• Prepare thought leadership
• Drive improved performance on responsible investing and sustainability factors across TPG’s global investment portfolio
• Contribute to fast-paced teams conducting research and engagement with portfolio companies on responsible investing topics (human capital, stakeholder relations, EHS, climate, etc.)
