Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for our Emergency Room in Spring Hill. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

You will teach patients and families, manage pain, and document care accurately in the chart. The ideal candidate has ≥1 year ER experience, TN license or compact state, and current BLS; ACLS and PALS within 1 year, CPI within 6 months.

Qualifications

• ER RN with at least 1 year of ER experience required.
• Current TN RN license or compact state license.
• BLS certification; ACLS and PALS within 1 year of employment.
• CPI certification within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patient pain; reassess after interventions.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
• Guide patients on non-medical follow-up, lifestyle changes, and self-management.
