Job summary

Bipartisan Policy Center's Health Policy Program offers a Spring Internship in Washington, DC. Interns will conduct policy research, support staff, and gain exposure to bipartisan policymaking.

The internship runs 18–20 hours per week with a $3,000 stipend, paid in two installments, and a schedule set with the intern manager at the start of the semester. Based in the Washington office, interns will work Tues–Thu in the office with optional remote work on Mon and Fri.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate school
• Strong research and writing skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist with policy research, writing info briefs and blogs
• Support project staff with events, congressional tracking, and communications tasks
• Perform administrative responsibilities as needed
• Topic areas include reforming health care systems and improving cost efficiency
