Qualifications

• Pursuing a master or PhD in biotechnology, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering or related field.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship at application time or in the future.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university for the co-op duration.
• Must relocate to Framingham, MA and work 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday.
• Hands-on cell culture experience with mammalian cells is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design experimental studies and operate high-throughput cell culture bioreactors (Ambr15 & Ambr250) to support screening and DoE activities.
• Conduct mammalian cell culture work (CHO cells) in a sterile lab environment.
• Prepare media and perform bench-top bioreactor operations.
• Perform literature searches to support bioprocess optimization.
• Compile and analyze data using statistical software (Spotfire, JMP; training provided).
• Prepare and deliver presentations at team and group meetings.
• Collaborate with the Cell Culture Bioprocess team on ongoing projects.
