Job summary

Teradyne's Defense & Aerospace Division offers a spring co-op on-site at our North Reading, MA headquarters. You will work with Applications Engineers to develop test programs, execute test suites, and create fixturing and documentation, while performing software QA on complex assemblies.

The role blends hardware and software skills across digital, bus, optical, and analog test instruments. The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer

Qualifications

• Be working towards a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer System Engineering.
• Have completed at least sophomore year.
• Be enthusiastic and eager to learn.
• Have programming skills in C, C++ and/or C#.
• Experience debugging hardware circuitry using benchtop lab equipment is a requirement.
• Have experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to work with cross functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop test programs and execute test suites in collaboration with Applications Engineers.
• Develop fixturing and documentation; perform software QA on complex assemblies.
• Work with instrumentation and software for digital, bus, optical, and analog test instruments.
