Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Quality Applications Engineering Co-op for Spring 2026 at our North Reading, MA site. You will work with Applications Engineers to develop test programs, run test suites, and create fixturing and documentation.

The role combines hardware and software skills across digital, bus, optical, and analog test instruments, with on-site collaboration and hands-on QA. Requirements include pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer System Eng.,

Qualifications

• Be working towards a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer System Engineering
• Have completed at least sophomore year
• Be enthusiastic and eager to learn
• Have programming skills in C, C++ and/or C#
• Experience debugging hardware circuitry using benchtop lab equipment is a requirement
• Have experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs
• Have good communication skills and the ability to work with cross functional engineering teams
• Relevant course work and or prior co-op / intern experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop test programs and execute test suites alongside Applications Engineers
• Develop fixturing and documentation for test setups
• Perform software QA functions on complex assemblies and identify corrective actions
