Job summary

Missouri State University is seeking Adjunct/Per Course Faculty to establish a pool of qualified candidates for Spring Semester at the Springfield Campus. Per Course faculty teach 1-2 sections, assist students, maintain records, and assign final grades, with courses in Business, Economics, Finance, and Law.

Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree or the equivalent, and a JD is required to teach business law.

Qualifications

• Per Course Faculty should possess a master’s degree or the equivalent professional experience in a field determined acceptable by the Dean.
• A JD is required to teach business law courses.
• All full time and part time faculty members in the COB are required to document their faculty qualification as part of their annual review.

Responsibilities

• Teach 1-2 sections of assigned course(s) per term and be available for student assistance relating to the course(s).
• Maintain course records and determine/enter final course grades.

Education

Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Juris Doctor (JD) required for business law courses
