Missouri State University invites applications for Adjunct/Per Course Faculty to establish a pool of candidates for courses offered in the Spring 2027 term at the Springfield Campus. This is a per course, adjunct position with potential to teach multiple sections across Art & Design disciplines.

Applicants must hold a master’s degree or equivalent professional experience and be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Per Course Faculty should possess a master’s degree or the equivalent professional experience in a field determined acceptable by the Dean.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more sections of a three-credit hour course in Art Appreciation, Art Education, Art History, Ceramics, Computer Animation, New Media, Drawing, Fibers, Art Foundations, Graphic Design, Electronic Arts, Illustration, Metals/Jewelry, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, or Sculpture.
• Turn in mid-term and final grades.
