Job summary

The Democratic National Committee is seeking interns for Spring 2027 in Washington, DC, with options for in-person, hybrid, or remote work. The DNC Tech internship offers hands-on projects in data analytics, software engineering, data science, and cybersecurity, guided by mentors.

Eligibility includes being 18+, enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, and committing to 20 hours per week. The term runs Jan 11–Mar 19, 2027, with a $3,700 stipend.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Must be located in the United States and available 20 hours per week.
• Prior political experience not required; interest in Democratic politics is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python or R is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support technology team on projects in data analytics, engineering, or cybersecurity.
• Attend team meetings and work closely with a mentor.
• Assist Operations with onboarding/offboarding tasks and weekly shifts.
• Engage in grassroots activities and DNC events where appropriate.
