Job summary

The Kroger Spring Internship Program offers a 12-week, full-time immersive experience across the Supply Chain and related operational departments in Cincinnati. Interns will rotate through projects, interact with senior leaders, and build hands-on skills while upholding Kroger's core values of respect, integrity and safety.

Qualifications

• Open to all majors actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university.
• Work authorization in the US without sponsorship now or in the future for Kroger Co.
• Highly motivated with initiative and leadership; able to work in groups or independently.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present information to various levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Demonstrates strong multi-tasking and time-management and commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple supply chain projects while adhering to timelines.
• Communicate status and any potential risks or issues to the appropriate teams.
• Assist in the documentation of supply chain processes and best practices.
• Assist in the creation of process improvement projects.
• Conduct supply chain analysis.
• Identify and pursue new supply chain project opportunities.
• Assist with project risk, develop plans and escalated unresolved issues.
• Partner with teams to elicit, analyze, document and deliver supply chain solutions.
• Complete cumulative internship project and present to executive team or manager.
• Perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
