Qualifications

• Available to work 40 hours/week at an IBM location for 16 weeks (Jan 19–May 7).
• Co‑op requires full‑time commitment without concurrent coursework.
• Knowledge in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and observability.
• Experience with automation for production environment changes.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Experience in day‑to‑day operations, alert management, and incident support.
• Scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Familiarity with IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure or GCP.

Responsibilities

• 24x7 observability: monitor production systems and services around the clock.
• Cross‑functional troubleshooting: provide initial assessments and workarounds.
• Deployment and configuration: use CI/CD tools to deploy services at scale.
• Maintenance and support: apply security patches and collaborate on issue resolution.
