Qualifications

• NFHS courses required for all coaches (online).
• CPR certification required for paid coaches; may be arranged via the school system.
• Must complete HR onboarding, HR screening (drug test, background check) and have a physical exam and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in planning and implementing the baseball program.
• Administer the baseball program and activities.
• Foster a positive learning environment for student-athletes.
• Establish and implement improvement processes for the sport.
• Maintain professional conduct and relationships with staff, students, and community.
• Communicate with parents and school community about program activities.
• Teach fundamental baseball skills and game management systems.
• Coordinate with principal and athletic director; organize coaching staff.
• Possess valid CDL bus driver license if required to drive activity bus.
