The Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget (OPB) invites an undergraduate intern to join the Spring 2027 internship program in Georgia. You’ll engage in budget and legislative processes, working in Education, Health and Human Services, Physical and Economic Development, Public Safety, or Planning and Strategy divisions.

From Jan 18 to Apr 15, 2027, you’ll typically work 20–24 hours weekly and report in person to the OPB offices at 2 Capitol Square, Atlanta, GA 30334.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate senior enrolled in a Georgia college with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Majors in public administration, policy, political science, economics or finance.
• Strong writing and research abilities; proficient with MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Assist with budget development and legislative tracking during the Georgia General Assembly session.
• Conduct policy research and analyze impacts on agency finances and operations.
• Support reviews of agency budgets and prepare briefings for decision-makers.
• Contribute to the development of strategic plans and data-driven recommendations.
