Job summary

Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget (OPB) offers the OPB Spring 2027 Internship for undergraduates. You will support budget development and legislative tracking, working within a division aligned to your interests in public policy and budgeting.

Interns will gain experience in state budgeting processes, legislative procedures, and data analysis, with a schedule around 20–24 hours/week from Jan 18 to Apr 15, 2027.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student enrolled during the internship.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Interest in public administration and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Support budget research and analysis for the OPB.
• Assist with tracking legislation and committee activity.
• Contribute to education, health, public safety, economic development, and transportation research.
• Prepare summaries and policy briefs for internal use.
