Kickstart your manufacturing engineering career with hands-on experience on Schneider Electric's El Paso, TX campus as a Spring 2027 Manufacturing Engineering Intern. Formación

• Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with interest in improving manufacturing processes.
• Interest in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, ergonomics and production efficiency.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow established processes and standards.
• Eagerness to learn and apply technical concepts in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Collaborative mindset to work with engineers, production teams, and cross-functional partners.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SAP or other engineering software is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support manufacturing improvement initiatives through time studies, video analysis, and production flow analysis.
• Participate in SIM 1 meetings and follow up on DISS actions and improvement ideas.
• Support Kaizen Blitz activities, 5S events, and other lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Assist with process documentation, including work instructions and Single Point Lessons.
• Partner with safety teams to identify ergonomic improvements and promote safe work practices.
• Support LDS activities, including e-performance and e-andon follow-up.
• Assist with project planning, tracking, and execution to improve manufacturing and maintenance efficiency.
• Support engineering activities using SAP Engineering BOM, OE, 3D Creo Viewer, and AutoCAD for layout modifications.
• Contribute to capacity planning, process design, and workflow optimization efforts across the plant.
