Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Spring 2027 Interior Design Collegiate Intern in Dallas. You will assist with presentations for aircraft concepts, coordinate fabric inquiries, and support refurbishment and completion design efforts in a fast-paced design department.

Ideal candidates are full-time Interior Design or Interior Architecture students, with a 3.0+ GPA, reliable transportation, and availability for 12–16 weeks.

Competenze

• Enrolled full-time in Interior Design or Interior Architecture with a 3.0+ GPA.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of design principles, color theory, textiles, carpets and leather techniques.

Mansioni

• Assist in creating presentations (boards, renderings, drawings) of aircraft design concepts to meet customer requirements and FAA rules.
• Coordinate with interior design to develop presentations for refurbishments/completions.
• Coordinate fabric material inquiries and check availability for assigned aircraft.

Unique Skills:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide effective assistance with presentations (sample boards, renderings, drawings) of aircraft design concepts incorporating customers requirements to achieve marketing objectives and to meet all FAA requirements
• Interface with interior design to develop effective presentations for aircraft refurbishments and/or completions.
• Assist in coordinating all fabric material inquiries and reserves to check for availability for assigned aircraft
• Organize, prepare, distribute and file materials and data to help establish and maintain effective communication and information systems within the design department.
• Support completion design as required.

Additional Functions:

1. Maintain organization and cleanliness of sample library

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Currently seeking a bachelors or masters degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture in a full time capacity.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher at the time of application, and it must be noted on the resume submitted.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work for the duration of the internship
• Be available to work full-time during the Spring of 2027.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

• Knowledge of design principles, color science, textile, carpet and leather techniques.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Other Requirements:

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelors degree or higher.
• Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
• Rotation Requirements: Juniors 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students 1 rotation.
• Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14-16 weeks (spring and fall).
• Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
• Must have reliable transportation.

This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
