Gulfstream Aerospace, a proud division of General Dynamics, seeks a Collegiate Intern in Savannah, GA to gain hands-on experience in software verification and validation for Gulfstream aircraft. You will join the Software and Performance Products team within Flight Sciences, developing software for performance calculations and validating control law software used by customers.

Ideal candidates are enrolled full-time in Aerospace, Software, or Systems Engineering programs, available on-site

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace engineering, Software engineering, or Systems engineering.
• Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Spring 2027 semester.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.

Responsibilities

• Work on software verification and validation activities for Gulfstream aircraft.
• Contribute to development projects within Flight Sciences and software for performance calculations.
• Assist in data analysis to support decision-making and project planning.

About The Position

The Software and Performance Products team in Flight Sciences provides a focal point for the software verification and validation (V&V) activities needed for certification and support of the Gulfstream aircraft along with the software centered development projects within Flight Sciences. This opportunity is within a team of engineers working on developing software for complex performance calculations and verifying control law software that will be directly used by Gulfstream customers.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Other Requirements

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
• Rotation Requirements: Juniors – 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students – 1 rotation.
• Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall).
• Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
• Must have reliable transportation.

This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
