Gagosian invites applications for its Spring 2027 Internship Program in New York. This full-time or part-time, in-person internship runs January 12, 2027 to May 22, 2027, with a hourly rate of $18.

You will work in a designated department, support daily gallery operations, and participate in lectures, with opportunities to engage in openings and events. Ideal candidates are rising 3rd or 4th year undergraduates or graduates in Art History or related fields, possessing strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Undergraduates in 3rd or 4th year, recent graduates, or postgraduates with Art History or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong desire to pursue a career in the art world.
• Flexibility, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
• Prior museum, auction house, or gallery experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meaningful projects within your designated department.
• Assist gallery staff with daily operations across sales, artist liaison, research and events.
• Support Front Desk with visitor inquiries and administrative tasks.
• Maintain inventory and organize shared spaces.
• Participate in gallery openings and events.
• Support ad hoc projects as assigned.
