Job summary

Gagosian invites applications for its Spring 2027 Internship Program in Beverly Hills. Interns will engage closely with one department, support daily gallery operations, and participate in lectures and team projects with staff and artists.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meaningful projects and recurring tasks within your designated department.
• Assist gallery staff with daily operations, supporting colleagues in sales, artist liaison, research and events.
• Provide support to the Gallery Assistant team with visitor inquiries and administrative tasks (mail, publications, stock, meetings prep, expenses).
• Assist with general office operations, stocking supplies, organizing spaces, and inventory maintenance.
• Participate in gallery openings and events.

Gagosian is accepting applications for its Spring 2027 Internship Program in Beverly Hills!

Gagosian is a leading global art gallery that represents and exhibits some of the most important contemporary artists. Our internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and work closely with talented professionals in the art industry, while also participating in lectures and team projects with key members of Gagosian staff and artists. As an intern, you will be an integral part of the gallery’s daily operations and contribute to our mission of promoting and shaping contemporary art.

In our internship program, you will work closely with a delegated department while supporting general gallery operations on a daily basis, gaining valuable experience, and cultivating lasting relationships. We are looking for applicants with a strong interest in art, who can work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, prioritize, and possess excellent communication skills.

Position Type

• 10am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, with additional hours for openings and events.
• Full-time and part-time positions available.
• 100% in person, at one of our Beverly Hills gallery.
• The internship program will run from January 14 - May 22

Qualifications

• Current 3rd or 4th year undergraduates, recent graduates, or postgraduate students with degrees in Art History or related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A strong desire to pursue a career in the art world.
• Flexibility, attention to detail, and a desire to learn are essential.
• Prior museum, auction house, or gallery experience is preferable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.

Candidates should be available to work at least three days per week and for the full duration of the internship program.
