Job summary

AB Facility Services is seeking an Accounting Intern to support our Accounting & Finance team with basic accounting tasks, data entry, and administrative support while gaining hands-on experience in a professional business environment.

This internship is designed for college students who can receive academic credit and apply classroom knowledge. You’ll gain experience with day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, invoicing, and financial records, using Excel and standard software.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college pursuing Accounting, Finance, Business, or related degree.
• Eligible to receive college academic credit.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Comfortable working with numbers and data entry.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Reliable, eager to learn, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accounting and financial data accurately.
• Assist with invoice and payment data entry.
• Help organize and maintain accounting records and documents.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
• Review data for accuracy and identify basic discrepancies.
• Support the Accounting team with administrative tasks and special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
