The Spray Painter will apply paint and stains to parts, maintaining gun cleanliness and meeting production timelines in a hands-on manufacturing environment. The role requires 2+ years in spraying and experience in electrical or mechanical assembly, with strong reading of drawings and attention to quality.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years spraying experience preferred.
• 2+ years experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred.
• Must be able to read drawings, assemble electrical & mechanical components, and validate quality.
• Excellent communication and time management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Sprays all parts needed for manufacturing and to mix custom stains.
• Keeps spray guns clean to ensure even coat of paint.
• Completes touch up work as needed.
• Informs mill of parts needed for production.
• Sets up and operates hot stamp machine.
• Performs required preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Ensures a final quality inspection is done on the product prior to forwarding to the next dept.
• Monitors stock levels and places order requests to warehouse.
• Keeps lot control of parts inventory.
